A day of Exploration

When leaving Bird Cove a day of exploration lay ahead of us. On our way to Norris Point, where the Munich Youth Choirs will be giving a concert tonight, August 4th in the Church of the Good Shepeard at 7:00pm, many picture stops were made. The beautiful scenery made everyone want to get out and explore. It was wonderful to take our time and enjoy the nature around us.


Arriving at our destination for the next couple days a great feed awaited us. There was something for everybody, including fresh fish and moose (yum).

This was the day to make use of our sleeping bags as we are all put up together for the night. We enjoyed a quiet evening, walking around Norris point in smaller groups.

Some of us stayed up a bit later and were rewarded with an absolutely stunning view of the night sky - never before have I been in a position to see the milky way that clear. It was a night of meteor showers - a night to remember. Hope all our wishes will come true.
